I was very very very happy about the new brandeins that reached me a couple of days ago. No, not only a portrait printed but seven! photographes. Yes you can guess I am excited. It looks awesome!

The story is about the "new mobility - the electric car E-GO life". For that I photographed Prof. Dr. Günther Schuh at the RWTH in Aachen, who is convinced that electronic cars should not be expensive and with that hard to sell. He was involved in developing the E-GO life electronic car, with it he wants to proof that electronic cars can be done diffrently than up to today.

A few weeks back I got a surprising email that lead to one of the most interesting assignments I have ever been called to photograph. I was send to Gelsenkirchen to cover and portrait Yusuf and his family. Yussuf, a now 17 year old radical islamist, is responsible for setting off a home-made bomb in April 2016 outside a Sikh prayer hall in Essen and is ever since then in prison. It was a challanging task but I was still able to make some nice Portraits of his mother Neriman durling a very late night shoot. Can't say I am not extremly proud of the outcome of this.

Old new Project »Mukhiani"

It has been a while since I updated my Works page with a new project. I worked on this project, »Mukhiani « while I was in Georgia for the Kolga Tbilisi Foto Festival in 2015 where I was nominated. It was a ton of fun to reconnect with some people I met here on my very first trip to Georgia. Again, it gave me wonderful memories of generous people in the neighborhood of Mukhiani … and I drank the heaviest Chacha of Georgia. But please look for yourself:

Exhibition @ »BaFo 16« Alte Museum Ostwall

A couple weeks back I was happy to exhibit with 20 other fellow Bachelor Students at the Alte Museum Ostwall in Dortmund for the »BaFo 16« exhibition. Everyone was exhibiting their Bachelor Project made at the Fachhochschule Dortmund in the past year. A fantastic variety of photograpic work! Especially the Vernissage opening was a great time. Again I made a Live video to stream on Facebook for everyone to see with a full run-throu of the exhibition space.

Fotoabsolventen-Ausstellung „BaFo16“ am Ostwall in Dortmund

Absolventen des Studienganges Fotografie an der FH Dortmund stellen ihre Abschlussarbeiten aus. Dazu laden sie zur Vernissage am 24.06.16 um 19 Uhr im Baukunstarchiv NRW (ehem. Ostwallmuseum) in Dortmund ein. Die Ausstellung ist bis zum 30.06. zu sehen.
Mehrere Monate lang haben sich die Nachwuchsfotografen intensiv mit ihren Themen auseinandergesetzt. Nun möchten sie ihre Arbeit der Öffentlichkeit präsentieren.

It has been already a while since our Bachelor Exhibition at the Alte Pfandhaus in Cologne.
Here now some pictures of my picture assembly. The Exhibtion opening was such a great succsess that we added an additional Finnisage at the last day of the Exhibition to give intrested people a little behind the scenes of our projects. So we heard some great talks about some very intresting topics/projects.

I even made a Live Broadcast on Facebook of the Opening Event.
